Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking a session with The Soft Rebellion Sanctuary.

Last updated: March 2026

1. About The Soft Rebellion Sanctuary

The Soft Rebellion Sanctuary is a UK-based sole trader wellness practice operated by Nikki (the "practitioner"). The services offered include Reiki healing, hypnotherapy and crystal healing, as well as related wellbeing offerings.

2. Nature of services and important disclaimer

The services provided by The Soft Rebellion Sanctuary are holistic and complementary wellbeing practices. They are designed to support relaxation, emotional balance, nervous system regulation and personal growth.

These services are not a substitute for medical treatment, psychiatric care or professional mental health support. The practitioner is not a medical doctor, psychiatrist or psychologist and does not diagnose, treat or cure medical or mental health conditions.

You are encouraged to seek and continue appropriate support from your GP, mental health professional or other qualified healthcare providers as needed. If you are currently in crisis or experiencing thoughts of harming yourself or others, please contact emergency services or crisis support in your area immediately.

3. Booking and payment

  • Session bookings are made directly with the practitioner via the website contact form or by email.
  • Full details of session length and price will be confirmed at the time of booking.
  • Unless otherwise agreed, payment is required in advance of the session or at the time of booking, using the payment method specified by the practitioner.

4. Cancellation and rescheduling

I understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes plans need to change. To honour both your time and mine, the following cancellation guidelines apply:

  • More than 48 hours' notice before a session: you may cancel or reschedule your appointment wherever possible, and any fees already paid will usually be transferred to a future session.
  • Less than 48 hours' notice or non-attendance: the full session fee may be charged, and refunds may not be available, except in exceptional circumstances at the practitioner's discretion.
  • Practitioner cancellations: in the unlikely event that I need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I will give as much notice as reasonably possible and offer an alternative time or a refund of any fees already paid.

5. Refund policy

  • Fees for completed sessions are generally non-refundable, as the time and energy for that session have been fully given.
  • Pre-paid session packages are usually non-refundable once started, but may, in certain circumstances, be transferred to alternative dates or other offerings at the practitioner's discretion.
  • If you feel unhappy with your experience for any reason, please contact me so that we can discuss this openly and explore appropriate next steps.

6. Your responsibility and suitability for sessions

By booking a session, you confirm that:

  • You are over 18 years of age, or have appropriate guardian consent.
  • You will share any relevant physical or mental health information that may affect your participation in the session, so that we can work as safely and gently as possible.
  • You understand that you are responsible for your own wellbeing, decisions and actions before, during and after the session.

If you are currently under the care of a doctor, psychiatrist or therapist, it is your responsibility to inform them about any complementary work you are undertaking, if appropriate.

7. Confidentiality

Everything you share in sessions is treated with respect and confidentiality, within the limits of the law. Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent, unless:

  • There is a serious and immediate risk of harm to you or someone else.
  • I am legally required to disclose information (for example, in relation to serious crime or safeguarding concerns).

For more details about how your information is stored and used, please see the Privacy Policy.

8. Results and outcomes

Every person and nervous system is unique. While many people find Reiki, hypnotherapy and crystal healing deeply supportive, individual experiences and outcomes will vary.

No specific results can be guaranteed. The work we do together is a collaborative process that invites your willingness to engage, while always honouring your pace and capacity.

9. Online and distance sessions

Where sessions are provided online (for example, by video call) or as distance healing, you are responsible for ensuring you have:

  • A private, safe and comfortable space where you will not be disturbed.
  • A reliable internet connection and appropriate device.

Please do not participate in sessions while driving, operating machinery or in any situation where deep relaxation could compromise your safety.

10. Intellectual property

All written materials, guided practices, recordings and resources shared with you by The Soft Rebellion Sanctuary are for your personal use only and remain the intellectual property of the practitioner. They may not be copied, shared, reproduced or distributed without prior written consent.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms and conditions may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in services, legal requirements or business practices. The "Last updated" date will be revised accordingly. By continuing to use the services after any changes, you are deemed to have accepted the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
